Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow Rockfon's presence in the UK construction market from field-based London coverage. You will strengthen distributor relationships, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with the Specification and Technical Services teams to drive profitable projects.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial sales experience (construction experience desirable).
• Familiarity with distribution sales channels.
• Strong CRM skills and IT proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Creative problem-solving and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Promoting the Rockfon brand to target groups.
• Developing the Rockfon business within the designated geographical area.
• Developing tactics and account plans to capitalise on market opportunities.
• Working closely with the Specification team to realise the potential of ongoing and future projects.
• Utilising Rockfon sales tools to log all activities (RockSell).
• Working closely with the Technical Services Team to ensure efficient and timely follow up of calculation requests.
• Carrying out market research while maintaining competitor awareness.
• Promoting and selling the technical details of the Rockfon product range while understanding legislation and its impact.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – South, you will be :

• Promoting the Rockfon brand to target groups
