Client Profile:

Our client is a multi-site distribution company [technical products] expanding abroad. The product range is vast & supplied via multi-channel routes to both domestic & business-to-business sectors. This rapid growth has created new roles, including an energetic & proven Area Sales Manager.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager for East Scotland/Edinburgh, responsible for selling the company’s product range into an established customer base including Electrical, Engineering, Generator OEM, Wind Farms, and Oil & Gas industries. The role involves expanding this customer base by opening new accounts.

You must be self-driven, customer-focused, business knowledgeable, with a good telephone manner and able to work under pressure. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to set target customers and ensure service levels are maintained by the internal team. Responsibilities include building, expanding, and maintaining customer relationships, handling enquiries and orders, maximising sales opportunities, following the sales process, and liaising with other departments to ensure high customer care.
