Job summary

Alexander James Recruiting is seeking a field-based sales professional to cover London and the home counties, ideally with a background in crane, plant, powered access or material handling equipment. The role focuses on growing the regional revenue and selling self-erecting tower cranes and related products.

You will manage existing clients, develop new business opportunities, and provide detailed site quotations. Occasional travel to the Midlands may be required.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in construction-based products is required.
• Experience selling capital equipment and conducting consultative sales is essential.
• Experience managing a large region and conducting site surveys is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing client base across London, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
• Business development across the listed counties.
• Provide a consultative approach to businesses in the sale of self-erecting tower cranes and other products.
• Conduct site surveys and provide detailed quotations to customers.
• Use construction-based software to seek and win business.
• Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth.
• Sell a variety of related crane products including accessories and training & support.
• Occasionally attend sales meetings at the company head office in the Midlands.
