Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food supplier for an Area Sales Manager covering South Wales, the South West and surrounding areas. This is a home-based, field sales role requiring daily travel to visit customers, develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities across your territory.

You will manage an established portfolio of approximately 100 accounts and drive new business growth across South Wales, Bristol, the M5 corridor,

Qualifications

• Proven field-based sales experience (essential) such as Field Sales Manager, Area Sales Executive or BDM.
• Experience managing the full 360° sales cycle.
• Strong track record of winning new business while managing existing accounts.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organised and driven approach to sales.
• Ability to work independently from home while managing your own diary.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of around 100 customers.
• Generate new business through cold calling, appointment booking and door knocking.
• Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits across your territory.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through to closing the sale.
• Work towards and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Represent the business professionally whilst delivering outstanding customer service.

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum + Company Car + Bonus (OTE £42,000)

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food supplier for an Area Sales Representative to manage and develop customers across South Wales, the South West and surrounding areas.

This is a home-based, field sales position where you'll be travelling daily to visit customers, develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities across your territory.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing an established customer base of approximately 100 accounts while also driving new business growth throughout your territory.

The area will cover South Wales, Bristol, the M5 corridor, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas, offering a varied territory with plenty of opportunities to develop existing accounts and win new business.

This is a true 360° sales role where you'll take ownership of the full sales process, from identifying opportunities and prospecting through to closing business and developing long-term customer relationships.

• Proven experience within a field-based sales role (essential), such as Field Sales Manager, Area Sales Executive or Business Development Manager.
• Experience managing the full 360° sales cycle.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• A self-motivated, organised and driven approach to sales.
• The ability to work independently from home whilst managing your own diary.
• A full UK driving licence.
