Are you an experienced Sales Representative in the Construction industry looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently working on behalf of a leading manufacturer in Ireland and the UK, seeking a talented individual to join their team in a pivotal role.

The COMPANY: Our client is an international manufacturer in the construction sector, supplying premium products for over 100 years. They have offices across Ireland and the UK, with a headcount of 700+. They had a turnover of €250M last year, with plans to grow that further in the next 3-5 years. This is an exciting growth phase for the organization, and due to this rapid expansion, they now require an Area Sales Manager, to join the team, assisting the sales team with the ambitious growth plans.

THE ROLE: As Area Sales Manager you will inherit a portfolio of accounts whilst identifying new business opportunities. The majority of your time will be spent growing and managing the existing accounts and You will report directly to the MD in Ireland. You will be selling their full product range of building materials to Builders Merchants across Northern Ireland. The role will be predominantly field based once up and running, with training provided on site for the first month.

THE PERSON: To be successful in this role, you must come from a strong construction sales background. Candidates with established relationships with builders merchants are a must. Candidates from outside the construction industry will not be considered at this stage. You will be strategic, driven, and have a passion for sales with a demonstrable track record.
