Engineering Sales Manager – Remote Working – Salary from £32,000 + Package + Car Allowance

A world-renowned engineering business based in East Anglia is seeking applications from experienced Engineering Sales professionals. You will be developing business relationships with key clients in the UK and other countries. You will work remotely but be expected to visit the Suffolk-based location on occasions.

Relevant sales experience is essential, coupled with key account management experience. To be considered, you should also be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Demonstrate relevant experience within the industry
  • An interest in, or familiarity with, engineering and/or technical products
  • Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and "people skills"
  • Good IT abilities, budgeting, and report writing
  • Robust time-management and organizational skills with good self-discipline and ability to operate independently

You will be responsible for:

  • The sale of company products
  • Maintaining the customer base and servicing the needs of existing customers
  • Developing new business through existing customers with new ranges, bringing on board new customers
  • Developing sales strategies in your area and setting customer targets
  • Analyzing sales figures, collecting customer feedback, and market research
  • Maintaining current knowledge of market products and competitors’ activities
  • Product management – liaising with the design department to keep the development of our products in line with customer needs and remaining current with changes in legislation

As the role involves travel, a full UK driving licence is required.
