Area Sales Manager

Homebased / Guildford

Up to £40,000 + uncapped bonus potential, company car or travel allowance & home-based contract

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for your territory's success by:

• Gaining, growing, and retaining customers to deliver profitable volume growth against targets.
• Researching your target audience and opportunities in your territory.
• Building and leveraging strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and understanding customer needs.
• Onboarding new customers effectively while maintaining relationships with existing accounts and tracking activity.
• Partnering with customers to understand their growth plans, adding value, and offering practical solutions and products.
• Understanding competitor activity and proposals to ensure you offer the best local solutions to your customers.

What we are looking for:

We seek someone capable of winning new business and maximizing sales with existing customers. Ideally, you will be commercially astute, proficient in Excel, and skilled in building relationships. A desire for sales is essential. Food industry experience is a plus but not required.
