Area Sales Manager – Homebased / Field Sales – Brighton/ Hastings

Up to GBP37,000 + great bonus, company car or car allowance & home–based contract

If you're currently working in Field Sales or have the talent to match your ambition to thrive in the biggest and best Food Service sales force, and are passionate about forging a career in sales, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Role model our Company Values / Purpose
  • Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity in the independent sector.
  • Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  • Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  • Understand competitor activity & proposals, ensuring you provide the best local solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure a smooth handover.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.

You're highly service-focused, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, providing solutions to support and enhance their business. Tenacious and resilient, you're a self-starter with the drive to succeed and experience in delivering against targets. You are self-motivated to develop yourself, seeking continuous improvement through learning and development programs. There are opportunities to progress into various commercial roles to develop your career.

You should be confident with our modernisation programme and new technology adoption to improve customer experience and performance. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
