Job summary

TalentTech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover East Midlands and East Anglia, including Cambridge, for our Playground Equipment division. This field-based role requires building new business and managing existing accounts in a busy B2B environment.

You will split time 60/40 between new business development and portfolio management, selling to Local Authorities, Schools, Caravan Parks, Pubs and Restaurants. A UK driving licence is essential, with sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Must have proven field sales experience in a B2B environment.
• Experience selling to Local Authorities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop the division across East Anglia and East Midlands.
• Promote a broad product range to Local Authorities, Schools, Cravan Parks, Pubs, Restaurants, etc.
• 40% managing an established customer portfolio, 60% new business development.
• Use CRM systems to track customer and competitor insights and stay informed on market trends.

The Company recruiting for the Area Sales Manager:

This is an established, privately-owned international manufacturing group with a strong reputation across multiple industry sectors. Their Playground Equipment division continues to grow its market share and is looking to strengthen its UK sales team as a result.

The Role of Area Sales Manager:

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager:

• You'll be a motivated and driven B2B sales professional with experience of managing a field sales territory
• Proven experience within a similar industry, with strong market knowledge of local authorities would be very desirable
• A natural relationship-builder, comfortable presenting on quality, benefits and technical features, with experience selling products or services B2B
• Highly organised, self-motivated and results-focused, thriving in an independent, field-based role
• You MUST have a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not being offered.

The Package for the Area Sales Manager:

• £37,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary
• OTE £10,000 - £15,000
