Job summary

The ONE Group Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover North UK and Scotland, selling irrigation and turfcare products to golf courses and sports turf customers.

You will promote products, provide technical advice, build long-term relationships and identify new business opportunities while aiming to exceed sales targets across the territory.

Experience in golf or irrigation is essential, and a full UK driving licence is required to visit customers across the region.

I'm working with a leading distributor that is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to cover a territory from North UK and Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for either:

• An experienced field sales professional with a background in turfcare, irrigation, golf course equipment or machinery, OR
• An experienced Head Greenkeeper, Deputy Head Greenkeeper or Course Manager looking to transition into a commercial sales role.

You'll have a good understanding of the golf and sports turf sector, along with the ability to build strong relationships and provide customers with technical advice and solutions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Promoting and growing sales of irrigation and turfcare products across the territory.
• Building and developing relationships with golf courses and other customers within the industry.
• Providing product advice, demonstrations and quotations.
• Identifying new business opportunities while developing existing accounts.
• Working towards and exceeding sales targets.

About You:

• Experience within the golf, sports turf or irrigation industry.
• Either field sales experience or a desire to move into a commercial role from a greenkeeping or golf course management background.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach and a full UK driving licence.
