Job summary

Platform Property Care is seeking an experienced Repairs, Voids and Maintenance Area Manager to lead multi-skill operatives across Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. You will drive safe, efficient repairs and a customer-first service, acting as the link between operations and frontline delivery.

You will oversee performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Housing Operations, Neighbourhoods, Commercial and Asset teams to meet objectives with strong data-driven insight.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in Housing/Construction environments.
• Knowledge of Awaab's Law, Health & Safety, Decent Homes and HHSRS.
• Collaborative leadership with coaching and development focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of property repairs and maintenance services with safety, quality and efficiency in mind.
• Champion a customer-first approach and resolve complaints early.
• Coach and develop team through 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and HSEQ guidelines.
• Manage external contractors and coordinate cross-functional delivery.
• Drive improvements, cost-efficiency and sustainability goals.
