Job summary

G4S is recruiting a full-time permanent Area Relief Officer to work across a collection of prestigious sites in South Yorkshire. A driving licence is required and you will be able to drive your own vehicle to different locations.

You will patrol, greet staff and visitors, and ensure security protocols are followed, with on-call shifts including days, nights and weekends. Full SIA license training is provided, and there is a strong focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over and a confident communicator.
• Good IT understanding is required.
• Full driving licence with access to own vehicle.
• SIA licence training provided by us; prior security experience not essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure security and safety protocols are followed at the site.
• Carry out gatehouse duties – access and egress control.
• Patrol premises inside and outside to deter incidents.
• Deal with security incidents and complete incident report forms.
