Area Property Operations Manager / Facilities Manager

Location: Bristol Area, with 4 days on site and 1 day at home per week

Contract: 6 months initially

We are seeking a high-profile, unique, exciting, and challenging opportunity to join an award-winning Property Services (PS) team that collaborates closely with customers and suppliers.

Area Property Operational Managers (APOMS) work directly with clients and suppliers, including regular site visits, to ensure the efficient delivery of hard and soft FM services across their portfolio. This key contract management role requires specialist knowledge, overseeing contract delivery, works projects, and ensuring technical and statutory compliance.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Strong experience in property and FM disciplines, with proven compliance with statutory, regulatory, and professional standards
  • Experience in:
    • Commercial and financial disciplines
    • People management, including mentoring, motivating, and development
    • Asset management, maintenance, and contract & supplier management
    • Managing complex customer relationships and stakeholder liaison
    • Managing multi-project maintenance or capital investment programs

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with project management processes
