Young’s is seeking an Experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead 12–14 diverse pubs from the Mumbles to Bristol and Bath. You will inspire General Managers and Head Chefs, shaping menus and operations to grow the business while maintaining exceptional standards and a people-focused culture.

Area Operations Manager – Bristol, Bath and South Wales- 90-95k (dependant on experience) plus bonus

We're looking for an Experienced Senior Operations Managerto lead an area of 12-14 diverse pubs (and pubs with rooms) that stretch from the Mumbles to Bristol to Bath and beyond. This area includes businesses such as the King Street Brewhouse - a wet-lead party pub that brews its own beers, The Riverstation - a destination-dining venue famous for its food and service, the Highbury Vaults – an old school alehouse that has dedicated local following, and the Oyster House – A modern pub with rooms beside the beach in the Gower Peninsula.

The ideal candidate is a creative, entrepreneurial operator who is experienced in leading a large team of people who run individual, unique pubs. You will be a renowned people developer with theability to inspire your team and promote our incredible people culture. You’ll have a track record of managing an area of GMs to grow their businesses, have a passion for pubs and be committed to your career in hospitality.

We believe pubs should be differentiated and individual – each one has a completely different menu, food vision and overall business vision, and it will be your job to guide your General Managers and Head Chefs to shape these to grow the business. This isn’t picking recipes from a bank and having the same sales driving events in all your pubs either – each menu is written from scratch in each business, and it’s all about tailoring the offer and reasons to visit to each pub’s unique customer base. Alongside this focus on growing sales, you will ensure impeccable standards and controls are practiced across the area and ensure that a people-focused culture (both our pub teams and our guests) are at the heart of everything we do.

Package:

• Salary from £90,000 - £95,000 per annum - dependant on experience
• Annual bonus scheme up to 30% of salary
