The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Marketing Manager covering the Middle East region on behalf of Leonardo Electronics UK. The role covers the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the Sultanate of Oman. This is a key role in the company’s export growth, involving the discovery, initiation, and support of strategic marketing and sales campaigns.

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Marketing Manager covering the Middle East region on behalf of Leonardo Electronics UK. The role covers the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the Sultanate of Oman. This position is crucial for the company’s export growth through strategic marketing and sales initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the new business winning plan for the Middle East
  • Collaborate closely with UK Sales Teams on business winning activities
  • Provide marketing intelligence to support sales opportunities
  • Establish strong relationships with End Users/Customers
  • Build relationships with Government staff, embassies, and relevant agencies
  • Manage contracts with advisors and local partners
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences in the Middle East
  • Coordinate with the company’s regional offices
  • Develop marketing strategies for local collaboration with industrial partners in-country

What We Need From You

  • Proven management and leadership experience working with diverse teams towards business goals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Middle East market, culture, and local behaviors
  • Responsiveness to customer requests, including out-of-hours support
  • Understanding of Leonardo Electronics UK products and services
  • Experience in market discovery, qualification, and translating opportunities into business
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at various seniority levels
  • Persistence, pragmatism, and structured approach to tasks and teams
