Job Title: Cleaning Area Manager

Thorn Baker is collaborating with an established Facilities Management company in North West Yorkshire. We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Area Manager to oversee and monitor 16 retail sites across the region.

The ideal candidate is currently in a similar role or ready to advance from a cleaning supervisor position, with relevant experience in a comparable environment.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, and current legislation.
2. Maintain and meet contract retention targets consistently.
3. Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols, conduct quarterly H&S audits, and perform monthly cleaning inspections.
4. Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of employees.
5. Motivate and develop a competent workforce.
6. Control operational costs and overheads to ensure profitability.
7. Implement cost-saving initiatives where applicable.
8. Plan and oversee operational activities and work schedules.
9. Manage client escalations effectively.
10. Ensure proper staffing and supervision at all sites.
11. Conduct performance reviews for team members.
12. Ensure availability of equipment and materials at all sites.
13. Conduct audits to maintain quality standards.
