Indie Campers in Manchester is seeking an Area Manager to lead operations across a cluster of depots. You will ensure high service standards, strong fleet performance, and consistent SOP execution while coaching Depot Leaders.

The role requires 7–10 years in hands-on operational roles and 3–5 years in leadership across multiple locations, with proven budgeting, cost control, and supplier relationships. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in hands-on operational roles (rent-a-car, logistics, retail, hospitality).
• 3–5 years in team leadership across multiple locations.
• Experience managing depot P&L, budgeting and supplier relations.
• Excellent English communication; local language optional.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work weekends/holidays.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset for dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Depot Leaders across multiple locations.
• Drive operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure SOP compliance and service consistency.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvement actions.
• Collaborate with Central Ops, Finance and HR.
