Job summary

Indie Campers UK is seeking an Area Manager to lead operations across a cluster of depots, ensuring high service standards, strong fleet performance and consistent SOP execution. You will coach Depot Leaders and drive operational excellence, reporting to the Regional Director.

This role requires 7–10 years in hands-on operations and 3–5 years in leadership, with budgeting experience, a valid driving license, and a hands-on, solution‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands‑on operational experience (rent‑a‑car, logistics, retail, hospitality).
• 3–5 years in team leadership roles managing multiple locations or high‑volume depots.
• Proven ability to manage depot financials, including budgeting, cost control, and supplier relationships.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to drive campervans.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage teams in dynamic environments.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
• Interest in our product and willingness to learn the technical details of campervans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Depot Leaders across multiple locations.
• Drive operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure SOP compliance and service consistency.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvement actions.
• Oversee P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
• Collaborate closely with Central Ops, Finance, and HR.
• Travel frequently (up to 50%) to support depot teams.
