Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop teams across our UK sites, ensuring safe, on-time delivery and high-quality standards. You will coach team leaders, monitor KPIs, plan effectively, and collaborate across departments to resolve issues and support customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and developing teams in a chilled or high care food environment.
• Ability to plan, communicate clearly and drive improvements across multiple functions.
• Knowledge of food safety requirements and HACCP Level 3 and IOSH Standards.

Responsibilities

• Guide Team Leaders and colleagues so that the daily plan is delivered safely and efficiently
• Maintain safety, quality and process standards and make sure they're followed consistently
• Monitor performance, review data and take action where improvements are needed
• Communicate openly, coach your team and support wellbeing, performance and attendance
• Work closely with other departments to resolve issues, support improvements and deliver good service
