Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a network of fast fashion womenswear stores in the UK. The role focuses on driving sales, improving store performance and delivering an outstanding customer experience across multiple sites.

You will coach Store Managers, develop high-performing teams and work with Head Office to support openings. Previous luxury-only experience is not suitable for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within fast fashion or high street womenswear retail.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing multiple stores as Area/ District/Regional Manager.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of delivering sales growth.
• Inspiring leader with coaching and developing teams.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Manager from a fast fashion or high street womenswear background to join one of the fastest-growing international fashion retailers.

Please note: this role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is solely within luxury, premium or designer retail. We are specifically looking for Area or District Managers who have led high-volume, fast-paced womenswear stores on the UK high street.

The Role

• Lead, motivate and develop Store Managers across a multi-site region


• Drive sales, productivity and profitability, ensuring all commercial KPIs are achieved


• Analyse trading performance and implement action plans to maximise sales


• Conduct regular store visits to coach teams and improve performance


• Maintain excellent standards of customer experience, visual merchandising, stock management and compliance


• Support recruitment, succession planning and the development of high-performing teams


• Partner with Head Office functions and support new store openings

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within fast fashion or high street womenswear retail


• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing multiple stores as an Area, District or Regional Manager


• Experience working within a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment


• Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of delivering sales growth and operational excellence


• An inspiring leader who enjoys coaching, developing and motivating teams
