Overview

Area Maintenance Technician Salary £28,540.46 per annum. Location: Glasgow. Shift Pattern: Days. Hours per day: 40. This is a Permanent vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST.

Job Title

Mobile Maintenance Technician – Glasgow

Responsibilities

• Assist other City Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately as required.
• Respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk, assess requirements, and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensure all tools and equipment needed to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

Qualifications / Experience

• Essential – City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing).
• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment.

Desirable but not essential

• Ability to maintain and repair a range of equipment.
• Quality of repairs and maintenance.
• Speed and efficiency of work.

The ideal candidate

• Full driving license.
• Experience using a PDA system.
• Carried out PPM and reactive maintenance within a similar retail environment.
