Troika Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with a leading flexible workspace operator to appoint an experienced Area Facilities Manager to oversee an East London cluster of around 10 commercial buildings.

The role is hands-on, multi-site, with a hospitality-led standard for members. You'll manage hard and soft services, compliance, and contractor performance, driving improvements and supporting new site mobilisations.

Qualifications

• Proven facilities management experience in a multi-site environment.
• Experience overseeing hard and soft services and contractors.
• Strong understanding of compliance, H&S and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own facilities performance for around 10 East London buildings.
• Oversee hard and soft services including mechanical systems, PPM, reactive maintenance, cleaning, security and waste
• Manage outsourced contractors, monitor performance and drive improvement
• Monitor statutory compliance, risk registers and health & safety across all sites
• Conduct site visits and audits for technical compliance and standards
• Own facilities ticket performance and identify root causes
• Support new building mobilisations and refurbishments
• Be the go-to facilities contact for building teams and landlord reps

Troika Recruitment is partnering with a leading flexible workspace operator to appoint an experienced Area Facilities Manager to look after its East London cluster.

This is a hands-on, multi-site role for a facilities professional who knows the industry inside out and can hit the ground running. You'll take ownership of around 10 buildings, making sure each one is safe, compliant, well maintained and running to a premium, hospitality-led standard for members.

The role

• Own the facilities performance of a cluster of around 10 commercial buildings across East London


• Oversee hard and soft services, including mechanical and building systems, PPM, reactive maintenance, cleaning, security and waste


• Manage outsourced contractors and service partners, reviewing performance and driving improvement


• Monitor statutory compliance, risk registers and health and safety arrangements across every site


• Carry out structured site visits and audits covering technical compliance, cleaning and visual standards


• Own facilities ticket performance, spot recurring issues and fix root causes


• Support new building mobilisations, refurbishments and operational change projects


• Act as the go-to facilities contact for building teams, technical services and landlord representatives

About you

• Proven facilities management experience. You've worked in the industry and understand how buildings run.


• Multi-site experience, ideally as an Area Facilities Manager or in a similar role


• A commercial property or property management background


• A good working knowledge of both hard and soft services


• Sound understanding of statutory compliance, health and safety, and contractor management


• Highly organised, with strong planning skills and comfortable using audits, data and tickets to improve performance


• A confident communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels


• RICS, IWFM, NEBOSH or IOSH would be an advantage but aren't essential
