Archive Vault Relocation Operative

Job summary

ITV plc in Leeds is recruiting two Archive Operatives for a 6-month FTC to support the vault relocation project, moving tens of thousands of tape and film assets on-site, with daily tasks and reporting.

You will relocate assets, update locations and data, label and barcode items, and ensure adherence to Health & Safety and archive policies while delivering progress updates to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Ability to relocate large amounts of film and tape assets.
• Good understanding of databases and archive systems.
• Awareness and working knowledge of Health & Safety policies and practices.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Clear understanding of the role and the tasks involved.

Responsibilities

• Relocating physical Tape and Film assets as part of a Vaults Relocation Project.
• Updating asset location and physical asset data
• Labelling and barcoding
• Accessioning assets into archive systems
• Ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety and other archive policies.
• Continuously improving processes & best practice
