Job summary

Labcorp seeks an Archive Officer in Harrogate to join our Sample Management and Archives department. The role supports labeling, receipt, inventory control, archival duties and secure handling of samples and data.

You will ensure accurate documentation, maintain confidentiality and contribute to the integrity of study material in a regulated environment, while working with the team to meet timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• National level of education (C or above) in Science, Maths and English GCSE.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample management and/ or archive tasks including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping and disposal.
• Sample accession tasks: opening boxes, inventory/labeling, receipt/store and pulls/returns.
• Use tracking systems to maintain sample and study integrity.
• Interpret protocols and client paperwork accurately.
• Document discrepancies and assist with problem solving.
• Maintain client and business confidentiality.
