Job summary

Bes Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer/Work Package Manager to support the Project Manager on cleanroom and life sciences projects across the UK. You will oversee smaller projects, assist construction programmes, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a background in engineering, an HNC and a CSCS card, and a willingness to travel. Experience in pharma/cleanroom environments is a plus. CDM regulation knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a work package manager or project engineer.
• HNC qualification and CSCS card.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/cleanroom environments preferred.
• Willingness to travel; knowledge of CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the Project Manager and manage smaller projects.
• Assist construction programmes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
• Procure subcontract work packages and materials to meet project timescales.
• Set and maintain high workmanship standards during construction including ITPs.
• Liaise with all disciplines to ensure works are completed accurately.
• Establish relationships with clients and manage smaller projects independently.

About The Role

What will you be doing?

• Youll be responsible for providing engineering support to the Project Manager, as well as managing smaller projects independently.
• Assisting construction programmes
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Procuring subcontract work packages and materials, as well ensuring they meet project timescale
• Set and maintain high standards of workmanship during construction including monitoring of snags and creation of ITPs
• Liaising with all disciplines to ensure works are accurately completed
• establish good working relationships with clients, and manage smaller projects independently.

What youll bring:

• Proven experience as a work package manager, project engineer or related field.
• The, ability to, (and your family)
• Expertise in an engineering discipline
• Preferably architecturally bias.
• You should currently hold a CSCS card and a minimum of an HNC in a related field.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical and cleanroom environments is preferred not essential.
• Willingness to travel.
• Conversant with CDM regulations.
