Who we are:

Fineline Architectural Design Ltd. (FAD) is a rapidly expanding family-run architectural services practice based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, UK. FAD offers a range of architectural, surveying, principal design, and project management services in various sectors. The practice is known for providing a professional and high level of service to clients with a focus on design quality.

As we continue to organically grow with a healthy pipeline of work, we have a requirement to expand our team with TWO ROLES.

What roles have we vacancies for?

We have two full-time on-site Architectural Technologist roles available within our Shipley Head Office. The role holder will be responsible for producing working drawings, architectural details and construction drawings as part of the day-to-day tasks. They will support a pipeline of Retrofit Design projects in accordance with the requirements of PAS 2035:2023.

What are we looking for (experience, qualifications and personal attributes)?

• A minimum of 3-5 years practice experience in the architectural industry
• Ideally experience and/qualifications in Retrofit Design
• Qualified to HNC/HND, and/or degree level
• Skilled in using standard CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite, and Microsoft apps along with 3D rendering packages would also be beneficial.
• Experience in producing working drawings, architectural details and construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A willingness to want to learn and develop within the practice
