Job summary

Konker is recruiting an Architectural Technologist in Nottinghamshire to take ownership of live projects from inception to completion. You will lead design and technical detailing across a varied sector mix, producing Building Regulations‑compliant drawings, coordinating with clients and the design team, and visiting sites to check progress.

A strong Revit/AutoCAD background and UK regs knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD with a solid understanding of UK Building Regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and design sense.
• Confident communicator with clients, contractors and the design team.
• Self-starting and able to manage deadlines across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Run projects from inception to completion and own design ownership.
• Produce drawings and specifications for construction.
• Coordinate detailed design information for construction and Building Regulations approvals.
• Carry out site visits to check progress and inspect completed work.
• Provide technical advice on materials, processes and buildability.
• Support health and safety and risk assessments.
• Advise clients on maintenance and future use of schemes.
