Job summary

Konker is seeking an Architectural Technologist in Nottinghamshire to take genuine ownership of live projects from inception to completion. You will lead the design and technical detail across leisure, residential, commercial, heritage and healthcare sectors, using Revit and AutoCAD daily.

You’ll coordinate detailed design information, prepare Building Regulations–compliant drawings and manage client and site visits with a hands-on, detail-focused approach. UK regulations knowledge essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in architectural technology; able to run projects independently.
• Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and design sensibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to completion with design ownership.
• Produce Building Regulations–compliant drawings and specifications for construction.
• Coordinate detailed design information and prepare construction documents.
• Make site visits, check progress and inspect completed work.
• Provide technical advice on materials, processes and buildability.
• Contribute to health and safety and risk assessments.
• Advise clients on maintenance and future use of completed schemes.
