Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a growing RIBA chartered practice in Liverpool. You will lead healthcare and education projects, manage from inception through completion, and handle building regulations submissions.

The role requires a degree in Architectural Technology, strong Revit skills, and a Chartered or CIAT-track professional. A UK practice background and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology or related discipline is required.
• Post-qualification experience as Architectural Technologist in a UK practice preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit is essential.
• Chartered or working towards CIAT membership is desirable.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Architectural Technologist to join their new Liverpool studio and deliver on a range of high-profile projects.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Lead and deliver on a range of healthcare and education projects
• Prepare and submit building regulation and planning application
• Manage and deliver on projects from inception through to completion
• Carry out site visits and ensure technical compliance is achieved

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Degree within Architectural Technology or another related discipline
• Strong post qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
• Proficiency with Revit
• Chartered or working towards CIAT membership
• Experience managing projects within the healthcare or education sector is advantageous
• Excellent working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Strong technical detailing and presentation skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
