Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Northampton is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a rapidly growing, RIBA chartered practice serving commercial and industrial sectors. You will bring a relevant Architectural Technology degree and UK experience.

The role involves producing technical packages from concept to completion, submitting planning and building regulations applications, conducting site visits, and providing architectural design services and project management for diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology.
• Working towards CIAT chartership.
• Post-qualification experience as Architectural Technologist in a UK practice.
• Proficient with Revit.
• Experience managing projects across various sectors.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a multidisciplined design team and provide technical design solutions to the project.

They are on the lookout for an Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to hit the ground running for their team in Northampton.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Work alongside a multidisciplined design team and provide technical design solutions to the project
• Produce technical packages from conception through to completion
• Submit planning and building regulation applications
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality and compliance is met
• Provide architectural design services and project management to commercial projects

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Relevant degree within Architectural Technology
• Working towards CIAT chartership
• Relevant post qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
• Proficient with Revit
• Experience managing projects across various sectors
• Excellent technical detailing and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Northampton area
