Architectural Technologist Job in Lichfield, Midlands

A new Architectural Technologist role has opened at our client's Lichfield office. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team working on projects across residential, healthcare, education, commercial, and leisure sectors.

Based across two offices with over twenty staff, this employee-owned practice provides services including architectural design, building surveying, and project management. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an Architectural Technologist to support their residential and healthcare projects.

Role & Responsibilities

• Produce technical drawing packages
• Create design presentation materials such as boards and layouts
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC guidelines, and relevant laws
• Assess risks and develop health and safety plans in line with regulations
• Inspect construction sites to verify adherence to drawings and provide instructions
• Organize drawings and back up files regularly
• Measure existing buildings on-site as needed

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience with healthcare and social housing projects (desirable)
• Approximately 5 years of practical experience
• Good knowledge of UK building regulations, planning legislation, and CDM 2015
