Job summary

Bimplus, a specialist RIBA chartered practice in Chorley, is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their healthcare design team. This permanent role offers hybrid working and a path to progression.

You will prepare planning drawings, develop construction documents, visit sites and ensure technical compliance, supported by a degree in Architectural Technology and Revit expertise.

Qualifications

• Degree within Architectural Technology.
• Experience as a Technologist in a UK practice.
• Strong drawing and technical skills.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning drawings and documentation.
• Develop planning schemes to detailed construction drawings.
• Carry out site visits and ensure technical compliance.
• Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technologist include:

• Prepare and submit planning drawings and documentations
• Prepare and develop planning scheme to detailed construction drawings
• Carry out site visits and ensure technical compliance is achieved
• Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages

Skills and experience for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Degree within Architectural Technology
• Relevant post qualification experience as a Technologist within a UK practice
• Proficiency with Revit
• Experience working on projects within the healthcare sector would be desirable
• Strong working knowledge of UK building regulations
• Strong drawing and technical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Full UK Driver's license
