Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd represents an established RIBA chartered practice seeking an Architectural Technologist for their Bradford studio. The role focuses on delivering commercial projects across the UK and internationally, with responsibilities spanning from project inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architectural Technology, be proficient with Revit and AutoCAD, and possess strong detailing and communication skills, along with knowledge of UK building

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with UK building regulations within a UK practice is essential.
• Proficiency with ArchiCAD is desirable; experience with Revit and AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a range of commercial projects.
• Prepare and submit building regulation and planning applications.
• Oversee projects from inception through to completion.
• Carry out site visits and ensure technical compliance.

They are currently on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Architectural Technologist to join their Bradford studio.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Manage and deliver on a range of commercial projects
• Prepare and submit building regulation and planning application
• Manage and deliver on projects from inception through to completion
• Carry out site visits and ensure technical compliance is achieved

Requirements for the role of Architectural Technologist:

• Degree within Architectural Technology
• Proficiency with ArchiCAD is desirable
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience working on projects within the commercial sector
• Relevant post qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations within a UK practice
• Excellent technical detailing and presentation skills
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Bradford area
