Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Warrington is seeking an Architectural Technician to join a busy house builder on residential schemes. You will work with an experienced team, spending time on-site yet mostly based in the office, and may oversee junior technicians.

Proven AutoCAD proficiency with REVIT preferred, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an architectural practice. A methodical, self-motivated approach and strong time management are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in an architecture practice.
• Residential-sector background preferred.
• Experience in the collation and submission of planning and building regulation applications.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; REVIT preferred.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise workload.
• Self-motivated with a methodical approach and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on-site as required, with main duties office-based.
• Oversee lesser-experienced Technicians and support staff.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and project teams.
• Use AutoCAD and REVIT daily to develop designs and produce drawings.
• Contribute to residential schemes and assist with planning/building regulation submissions.

Architectural Technician required to join a House Builder near Warrington.

This vacancy has arisen for a talented Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician looking to develop their existing architectural talents working on a number of Residential schemes and developments.

Our client are a well-known Housebuilder. Their work is primarily very local with various sites currently undergoing development across the North-West region. They are undergoing a significantly busy period and as such they need a good, experienced Architectural Technician to join the team in an intermediate-level role.

You will work closely with an experienced team and will report into a team of senior colleagues. You will spend some time on-site, although your main duties will be office-based. This may include the overseeing of lesser-experienced Technicians and junior members of staff. You will be using AutoCAD (& REVIT) on a daily basis, therefore it is preferred that candidates will have a good understanding of the software before applying for this role.

Key requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience working within an architecture practice. Residential-sector background is preferred.
• Experience in the collation and submission of planning and building regulation applications.
• A proven proficiency with AutoCAD software - REVIT preferred too.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
• To be Self-motivated and with a methodical approach to work with an attention to detail.
