Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Architectural Technician in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, offering £35,000–£45,000 plus training and development. The role involves producing full drawing packages, managing planning and Building Regulations submissions, and liaising with engineers.

Architectural Technician

Wellingborough, Northamptonshire (Commutable from: Northampton, Kettering, Rushden, Bedford, Corby, Market Harborough, Milton Keynes)

Are you an Architectural Technician or Technologist looking for a secure, long-term position within a friendly, close-knit practice where you can take ownership of full drawing packages from concept through to Building Regulations?

This is a permanent position with a well-established architectural design practice, where you will be properly supported and can develop your technical skill set across different project types, including residential and commercial work, heritage properties and disabled adaptations.

The company are well established and have built a strong reputation by delivering high-quality work from conception through to site. As a result of continued demand, they are now looking to add an experienced Technician to support their directors and design team.

In this role you will produce full AutoCAD 2D drawing packages, manage planning and Building Regulations submissions, liaise with external Structural Engineers and carry out periodic site visits to ensure work is delivered as designed.

This role would suit an Architectural Technician with strong technical drawing capability who wants stability, a relaxed office environment and the chance to broaden their knowledge with training into areas such as CDM.

The Role:
