Job summary

Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking an Architectural Technician to join our Pre-Construction Asset Planning team in Tidworth. You will ensure projects are fully defined, specified and priced with all necessary surveys, and liaise with external agencies to coordinate access and programme works.

You will prepare Pre-Construction Information packs in line with CDM Regulations, support tender evaluations for value for money, and hand over project files to the Delivery Team while

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Qualifications Framework Level 4/5 qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Must have a recognised Project Management qualification.
• Must hold an industry-recognised qualification in engineering, building services or facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are fully defined, specified and priced with all necessary surveys.
• Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate access and programme works.
• Ensure projects are specified, tendered and evaluated for value for money in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Prepare Pre-Construction Information packs in accordance with CDM Regulations.
• Provide project handover files to the Project Delivery Team and comply with procurement, lifecycle and change management processes.
• Plan projects to minimise disruption to services and customers while maintaining quality, health and safety and environmental compliance.

Your Role:

• You will be preparing Pre-Construction Information packs in accordance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
• You will be providing project handover files to the Project Delivery Team and complying with project, procurement, lifecycle and change management processes.
• You will be planning projects to minimise disruption to services and customers while maintaining quality, health, safety and environmental compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: You will hold a National Qualifications Framework Level 4/5 qualification in a relevant discipline, a recognised Project Management qualification, and an industry-recognised qualification in engineering, building services or facilities management.
• Experience: You will have experience of Building Regulations, managing tenders and working within Construction (Design and Management) requirements.
• Skills: You will have the ability to communicate effectively, build working relationships, deliver high-quality customer service and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.
