Job summary

9B Careers is working with a small, seven-person architectural and interiors practice in NW3, specialising in high-end residential projects. They are looking to appoint a Project Manager designed to take responsibility for administration, coordination and project management.

This role aims to improve systems, communication and project delivery as the studio grows its design-and-build offering. The initial expectation is to work from the NW3 studio five days a week with flexibility developing

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience, ideally within architecture, construction or related environments.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Good understanding of procurement, contracts and project administration.
• Commercially aware with attention to detail.
• Able to introduce structure and systems into a growing business.
• Confident working with clients, architects, contractors and consultants.
• An Architect moving into project management would be considered if you are genuinely looking to focus on project management rather than design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects across the practice from inception through to completion.
• Take responsibility for project administration, procurement and contractual documentation.
• Support financial administration, budgets and project reporting.
• Coordinate communication between clients, architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Introduce and improve project management systems and processes.
• Help establish more efficient ways of working across the studio.
• Support the delivery of an increasing number of design-and-build projects.
• Work with the practice's embedded AI developer to develop systems and tools that improve project management and communication.
