Job summary

Facade Today is seeking an Architectural Assistant to join our Liverpool-based architectural team. You will produce design drawings using CAD/BIM, coordinate information, and assist with planning submissions while developing your technical and design skills.

You will work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment, applying industry standards and contributing to offset deliverables across education, MMC/off-site, sustainability, and conservation sectors.

Qualifications

• Qualified with an Architecture Degree (RIBA Part 1 minimum; Part 2 preferred).
• Experienced using REVIT and BIM in a design environment.
• Strong team player in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Confident in design ability with a solid technical understanding.

We're looking for an Architectural Assistant to join our Architectural team based in Liverpool.

Location: Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: Starting form £25,000 per annum

Sector: Architecture and Building Solutions

As an Architectural Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality design work across a range of sectors, supporting projects from concept through to construction. Working closely with experienced professionals, you'll gain exposure to real-world project delivery while developing your technical and design skills in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Architectural Assistant, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including:

• Supporting senior team members across all stages of design and construction
• Producing concept and detailed design drawings using CAD/BIM
• Contributing to technical coordination and project delivery
• Ensuring designs meet budget, programme and compliance requirements
• Participating in design risk assessments and project planning
• Supporting bids and work-winning activities where required
