A leading global consulting and engineering firm is seeking an Architect or Technologist to assist in the design and delivery of diverse architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in Defence and Government sectors, proficient in Revit and BIM level 2. This role offers opportunities for mentoring junior colleagues and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. A full UK driving license and SC security clearance are required.
We are looking to recruit an Architect or Technologist experienced in assisting in the design and delivery of architectural and multi-discipline projects.
The projects for this role will vary in type, size, and complexity.
Project work will primarily be within the Defence, Nuclear, and Government sectors, complemented by other redevelopment and community opportunities.
The projects will have a strong northern regional focus but may also involve working nationally and internationally for UK Government clients.
You will be an enthusiastic Architect or Technologist with good knowledge and experience in designing buildings and facilities, from inception to completion, with an emphasis on RIBA Stages 2 to 4.
While chartership is not essential, relevant experience is required.
You should have experience delivering projects to BIM level 2 (and beyond) and be a very competent Revit user.
You will possess the ability to work at a high level, employing a range of drawing, modelling, and interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
You will help our multidisciplinary team solve complex problems.
We value sharing best practices and developing our team members; therefore, the successful candidate may be involved in mentoring or developing junior staff or colleagues.
You must already hold 'SC' security clearance or be willing to apply for it.
Due to the nature of the role, a Full UK driving license is required.
