Job summary

Facade Today is seeking an Architect for a respected Ayrshire architectural practice. The role offers exposure to a broad range of sectors including distilleries, heritage, commercial, social housing, and sport & leisure, spanning various RIBA stages.

You will join a studio with a collaborative ethos and a track record of project wins across Scotland. The successful candidate may be Part II, recently qualified, or an Architectural Technologist, with strong Revit or ArchiCAD skills and a

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' working for a UK-based architectural practice.
• Experience working across multiple RIBA stages.
• Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD; strong design skills and ability to develop concepts into technical solutions.

Hays are delighted to be assisting a successful Ayrshire-based architectural practice as they look to grow their team following several recent project wins. The practice works across a broad range of sectors, including distilleries, heritage and visitor centres, commercial offices, social housing, and sport & leisure developments throughout Scotland. As a result, the role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse mix of project types and stages.
Whether you're an experienced Part II, a recently qualified Architect, or an Architectural Technologist, you will have the opportunity to get more hands-on design experience, as well as contributing to the delivery of projects spanning multiple sectors in some scenic locations throughout Scotland.

What you need to succeed

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' working for a UK-based architectural practice
• Experience working across multiple RIBA stages
• Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD
• Strong design skills, with the ability to develop concepts into technical solutions
• A sound understanding of Scottish planning & building regulations
• A proactive and collaborative approach
