Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Architect to support concept, planning and technical design across a range of development projects in the UK. You will lead specific design aspects, produce drawings, and collaborate with clients and consultants to deliver Tender and Construction Stage work.

You will work within a team that values design excellence, regulatory knowledge, and effective communication, with hybrid working options and development opportunities across the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction / architectural industry.
• Must be a qualified Architect.
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations and national standards.
• Working capability and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review drawings under the Project Lead, ensuring design intent.
• Develop design concepts, modelling, sketches, presentations and construction docs.
• Work on multiple projects with design solutions within deadlines and budgets.
• Interact with clients and consultants, present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Prepare architectural documents, elevations, sections and details as directed.
• Develop solutions following established design standards.
• Assist in project scope and services during the contract process.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentations, drawings and renderings.
• Compile data and perform basic design computations.
• Research materials and assist in system selection.
