Clayton Architecture in Sefton is seeking an Architect to join our growing team. You will be involved in all design and construction stages, taking ownership of projects with support from our experienced team.

The role requires ARB registration, UK practice experience, and strong design/technical abilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with SketchUp and Enscape considered an advantage. We offer a collaborative studio, flexible working, and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• ARB registered with current status in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from feasibility through to completion.

About Us

Clayton Architecture is an award-winning RIBA Chartered Practice based in Ainsdale, Southport. Since 2015, we have built a reputation for delivering high-quality residential, commercial and heritage projects across the North West.

As a small, close-knit team, we believe every member of staff plays an important role in the success of our practice. Unlike larger firms, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, take ownership of projects and see your designs through from concept to completion.

We're looking for a motivated Architect to join our growing team.

The Role

You will be involved in all stages of the design and construction process, managing projects with support from our experienced team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Preparing planning, Building Regulations and construction drawings.
• Producing technical detailing and specifications.
• Liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Attending client meetings and site visits.
• Assisting with contract administration where required.
• Working collaboratively within our friendly studio environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is ARB registered.
• Has experience working within a UK architectural practice.
• Has strong design and technical abilities.
• Is proficient in AutoCAD.
• Has experience with SketchUp (Enscape experience would be an advantage but is not essential).
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can manage their workload effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Holds a full UK driving licence is an advantage.
