Job summary

Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt Architects in Hampshire is seeking an ARB-registered Architect to join our studio. The role spans design and delivery from inception to completion within a collaborative, design-focused practice.

We value creativity, technical rigour, and meaningful architecture; this is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a salary of £37,250–£41,750 depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare, pension, Cycle to Work, and more.

Qualifications

• ARB registration is required or highly preferred; RIBA Chartered status is advantageous.
• Evidence of strong design thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage projects, teams and client relationships with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Shaping design and delivery across multiple projects from concept to completion.
• Prepare and develop surveys, drawings, models and other design documents.
• Support project teams, consultants and delivery programmes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Tutor and support junior staff while upholding high design and technical standards.

Architect (RIBA/ARB Registered), Hampshire Studio | Full Time - 40 hours per week

Salary:£37,250 – £41,750 FTE (dependent on experience)
Holiday:31 days FTE holiday (including Bank Holidays) and up to 3 additional paid days at Christmas, 3% pension, private healthcare, employee referral bonus, Cycle to Work Scheme, Electric Vehicle Salary Sacrifice and support for professional development.

The role

As an Architect, you will help to shape design and delivery across multiple projects while supporting the development of our growing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shaping projects from concept through to completion
• Preparing and developing surveys, specifications, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design
• Supporting the management of project teams, consultants, and delivery programmes
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Tutoring and supporting junior staff
• Ensuring the highest standards of design quality and technical delivery

About you

We are looking for an experienced and confident architect who bringsdesign excellence.

You will ideally:

• BeARB registered(RIBA Chartered preferred)
• Demonstrate excellent design thinking and attention to detail
• Be confident supporting the management of projects, teams, and client relationships
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively
• Bring enthusiasm, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem solving
