Job summary

Avove Utilities is recruiting skilled Arborists to support National grid projects across the UK. You will perform practical arboriculture tasks, climbing and pruning to support power line clearance, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Desirable Utility Arb NPTC Qualifications and progression training welcomed.
• Candidate should be comfortable working with power line clearance.
• UK-based or eligible to work in the UK; full driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake practical arboriculture tasks for an efficient voltage programme of tree clearance within timescales.
• Climb, prune and tidy sites in line with BS3998 2010; complete data records.
• Comply with legislation on tree management relating to power lines, Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Areas and protected species.
• Manage landowners with agreed access/egress routes and communicate work details on site.
