The Arborist is responsible for carrying out all types of tree work, including climbing, pruning, and removing trees, in a safe and efficient way. The role is physically demanding and requires a good understanding of arboricultural practices, health and safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of tree surgery including climbing, pruning, felling, dismantling, and deadwood removal
• Use rope and harness systems, MEWPS, rigging equipment, and chainsaws at height
• Communicate clearly with grounds crew to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
• Deliver high-quality work
• Assist with site cleanup, chipper operation, and waste management
• Maintain a tidy and respectful working environment at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in tree climbing and aerial tree work
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work at height
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instruction
• CS40/CS41 (aerial pruning and rigging)
• First Aid at Work certificate (ideally +F)
• Experience with MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms)
• PTS
