Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Arboriculture Consultant to join our growing Environmental Team, with the flexibility to be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will work across infrastructure projects, focusing on trees and the built environment, in a multidisciplinary setting with planners, ecologists and landscape colleagues.

You will undertake BS5837 surveys, arboricultural impact assessments, TPO coordination, and provide on-site tree protection guidance to design teams and contractors, contributing to

Qualifications

• Degree or Level 3 Arboriculture qualification or equivalent.
• Hands-on arboricultural report delivery to tight deadlines.
• Experience delivering BS5837:2012 surveys and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Undertake BS5837 tree surveys and arboricultural impact assessments.
• Coordinate TPO applications and liaise with tree officers.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders and contractors on tree protection.
