Job summary

WSP is seeking an Arboriculture Consultant to support the Principal and Senior Consultant on a range of tree-focused projects across the UK. The role involves site surveys, desk study interpretation, technical report writing, and contributing to arboricultural impact assessments.

You will liaise with design teams to develop mitigation solutions, analyse data, and manage projects while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Level 3 arboriculture qualification or related field.
• PTI certificate.
• Experience as arboriculture consultant or local authority tree officer or similar.
• Experience in arboriculture surveys using digital data capture.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys, assessments, measurements and tree hazard assessments.
• Collation and interpretation of arboricultural information from desk studies.
• Prepare technical reports and arboricultural impact assessments.
• Input into mitigation strategies with the design team.
• Data analysis and project management.
• Support senior and junior team members.
