Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Arboriculture Consultant to join our environmental team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will work on infrastructure projects across Scotland, conducting BS5837 surveys, preparing impact assessments, coordinating TPO applications and advising on on-site tree protection.

You will collaborate with planners, ecologists, landscape architects and environmental consultants to integrate trees with built environments and deliver practical solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Arboriculture or equivalent
• Hands-on arboricultural reporting experience
• Familiar with BS5837 surveys and tree protection measures

Responsibilities

• Undertake BS5837 tree surveys and prepare arboricultural impact assessments
• Coordinate TPO applications and liaise with tree officers and stakeholders
• Support design teams to find tree-friendly solutions and advise on on-site protection
