Job summary

Greenbridge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Arboricultural Consultant (or Senior) to join a small but growing team in Evesham, Worcestershire. You will solve planning challenges, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and influence how trees are preserved within our built environment.

The role offers real autonomy, opportunities for progression toward Chartered status, and a flexible/hybrid working environment with a competitive salary in the £30,000–£45,000 range depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in BS5837:2012 surveys and planning reports.
• Strong understanding of trees within the UK planning process.
• Exceptional communication and proactive organisation.
• Ability to travel occasionally for UK-wide projects.
• Experience with Tree Risk Assessment methodologies or related certification is a bonus.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Proven track record in BS5837:2012 surveys and planning reports (Arboricultural Impact Assessment, Method Statements). Strong understanding of trees within the UK planning process.
• Skills: Exceptional communication skills, proactive organisation, and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and project teams.
• Ability to Travel: Occasional overnight stays required for UK-wide projects (expenses covered).
• Bonus Points: Experience with Tree Risk Assessment methodologies, a Professional Tree Inspection certificate, or existing AutoCAD proficiency. (However full AutoCAD training provided if needed!)
