Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Arable Operator for Spalding. You will perform primary/secondary cultivations, crop establishment, harvest support, and general field operations using modern tractors and cultivation gear.

The role requires a valid UK driving license, proven machinery experience (GPS/auto-steer), and a commitment to health and safety. Salary £42,000 plus bonuses and benefits, with overtime and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required
• Legal right to work in the UK (visa acceptable)
• Experience operating modern agricultural tractors and heavy cultivation machinery

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and heavy cultivation equipment safely
• Carry out primary/secondary cultivations and crop establishment
• Use GPS/RTK auto-steering to maintain field standards
• Complete daily pre-use machinery checks and routine servicing
• Maintain field records and report defects to management
• Work with farm management and workshop teams to maintain machinery performance
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures
